Highlights
|
Ride day starts exiting Tibbetts Valley Park's pastoral setting with an
enthusiastic send-off from the Ride Emcee, a team of local High School
Cheerleaders, and family and friends.
The rest stops offer professional first aid staffing, all the water you can
drink, and signature foods-some girly, some burly, but all delish! Not to
mention the cleverly and oh so tastefully decorated “pretty potties.†And let us
not forget the enthusiastic WAVE volunteers staffing, cheering, and always
dancing up a storm that await you at each stop along the way.
At the finish line riders are presented with a handmade medal of thanks and an
Amore chocolate truffle. Riders deserve a party after the event and that’s what
the post-ride reception gives them. Stop and check out the Clothesline Exhibit
(a tribute to survivors of domestic violence), visit vendor booths, win prizes,
sample some goodies, and enjoy more girl time.
